Vickie Perdue Scott When it comes to Youth, Collaborations, and rolling the sleeves up to get it done, all for the sake of our youth, Dr. Scott broke the mold. Though she is associated with our organization, it is the similarities in terms of passion for all youth that we were able to create synergies with her to ensure that to the extent we can, we are able to identify and collaborate with other organizations to ensure that the highest percentage of any funding is utilized to benefit the youth. Her background as in a number of school systems as Deputy Superintendent of Academic P-12, Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning/Community Affairs P-12, Principal and Associate Principal, and the list goes on. Dr. Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts; PBT-4 Certification with Majors in Psychology and Secondary Education and Masters of Education; PBT-5 Certification; Interrelated Teacher Specialist; Honor Graduate from Mercer University; a Masters of Education; NL-5 Certification; Administration and Supervisor; Honor Graduate from University of Georgia; an Education Specialist Degree; L-6 Certification; Administration and Supervision; Honor Graduate from University of Georgia; a Doctor of Education Degree; L-7 Certification Fischler Graduate School of Education and Human Services; Education and Leadership and Administration from Nova Southeastern University of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She serves on numerous advisory councils and programs. Some of her many accomplishments consist of SACS School Improvement Process, National Accreditation Team, Designed and Implemented Professional Learning P-12, Implemented State and Federal Education Reforms – HB 1187, NCLP; Planned and Designed Course Offering Guides and Postsecondary Option Guides; Anchorwoman for Channel 17 Education Channel-Building Community Collaboratives; Implemented Family Involvement and Summer Enrichment Programs P-12. She serves on the Georgia State University Principal’s Center, Education Policy Council; the Macon State College – College Connection, Project YES,PREP and Senior Seminar as well as the Mercer University – Tift College of Education, Transformational Leadership Program. Though impressive, not is as impressive as being graced with this bundle of positive energy all in an effort to positively impact youth’s lives. Some of her Community Activities includes extensive work with the Macon in a number of leadership and board capacities; Mayor’s Workforce Development Youth Coordinating Council; Mayor’s Diversity Council; America Red Cross & more. |
